Meet Sydney

I provide individual therapy for women and mothers (16+) navigating pregnancy, postpartum, and the real, often overwhelming transitions that come with motherhood. My approach is supportive, honest, and grounded in evidence-based practices like CBT, IPT, and trauma-informed care. Therapy with me is real and judgment-free; you don’t have to have it all together here. I’m a mom of three myself, so I understand how heavy this season can feel, and I’m passionate about creating the kind of support I wish existed when I was in it. Think of this as a space where you can exhale, be fully yourself, and start feeling like you again.

My Story

My journey into maternal mental health began with my own story. I became a mom in 2019, and like so many others, I quickly realized that motherhood is both beautiful and incredibly challenging. In early 2021, I experienced a pregnancy loss, followed by welcoming my second child later that year, and my third in 2024.

Along the way, I navigated my own experiences with postpartum depression, postpartum anxiety, and birth trauma. I also gave birth to my first during the COVID-19 pandemic, a time that felt especially isolating and overwhelming. I remember feeling alone and unsure where to turn for support.

When I finally reached out for help, I couldn’t believe how limited maternal mental health services were in our community. That realization stayed with me. It ultimately led me back to school to pursue my master’s degree, where I discovered a deep passion for supporting mothers and families during this vulnerable stage of life.

Today, I am proud to provide maternal mental health support right here in Hutchinson, Kansas. My goal is to create a space where parents feel seen, supported, and understood because no one should have to navigate this journey alone.”
